That's because telly, as evil as it is, is just a weapon of mass distraction, and not really that important.

So you don't get all those little people stepping out from the screen and running around your living room, shooting at everything that moves???

Mobile phones, texting especially. School reports show that kids today don't know how to write correctly, they can only correspond in 'text speak' if at all. I have to say that I do have a mobile but I certainly do not think it is a major priority in my life!
I also agree with STD on the Television angle - less Telly more talk that's what I say!

Ok then apathy gets a vote, but what about the enthusiasm to answer a ringing mobile phone / text whilst your watching telly?
