Nintendo Ds Download Stands | March 1, 2006 at 11:23 PM

Agreed. Interesting concept, but in little Norway at least there's just not enough people to warrant something like this most places. Still, if it was updated often, it would be nice.

Sort of nice little review of the download stands here.

Turn-based War, What Is It Good For? | February 17, 2006 at 12:27 AM

US version? Where from?

Turn-based War, What Is It Good For? | February 16, 2006 at 09:38 PM

Good stuff FullAuto! Guess I'll buy myself a DS tomorrow then . Did they release Rebelstar and Tactics Ogre in this part of the world?

Not Beign Listened To? | February 1, 2006 at 07:33 PM

What are they then? Assistant teachers or something?

Anyway, I'm a fan of the same method as FA; Beat some fear into them

That being said, what he suggests is probably the best thing. Have a meeting with them, and tell them what is acceptable and not. This is your classroom, and they better follow your rules. Suggestions and the likes are welcome, but at the end of the day you call the shots. Don't mention management however, but go to them if nothing improves, and tell them the assistants are more of a burden than help.

@FullAuto: I can feel the grim reaper breathing down my back...

@Pete: That's what the girls wrote in the card! What they failed to mention was what sort of "blonde" I would be...

@silvertongedevil: Glad to be of service!

@Azrael Strife: Then start consuming large amounts immediately, to train

I had intended to post this here, but since I couldn't add pictures it ended at StrategyCore. It's only rant, but some might find it encouraging

Are You Eyeballing Me, Boy? | January 22, 2006 at 02:17 AM

I was bored to death by this movie. It never started...

Oh Pete, Where Art Thou? | January 21, 2006 at 02:07 PM

How about dedicating a site to the destruction of such people? Donations for hitmen and so on...

Ufo Aftershock | January 21, 2006 at 02:05 PM

Azrael Strife: I feel very disappointed with this game, not nearly as fun as I expected; doesn't even get near to X-Com: Apocalypse in terms of fun (IMHO)

Well, it didn't kick X-COM off the throne for me either. That being said, it's a very good game. Did you play far?

Oh Pete, Where Art Thou? | January 19, 2006 at 04:44 PM

Thanks! I didn't understand what was going on, as the e-mail I sent you came to MY inbox! I sent them from the google webmail however (can't send from ThunderBird at Uni), so I guess it sends all mail to my inbox because of settings.

As for SpyWare, that's always fun . A friend of mine had the same problem you have a few months ago. His PC was hijacked badly, and I couldn't manage to get rid of it. How I'd love to get my hands on the developer of such nastiness! Good luck with the reformat, and if it's any consolidation I did the exact same thing a few days ago.

Oh Pete, Where Art Thou? | January 19, 2006 at 04:30 PM

Hi folks

Did you happen to see Pete around lately? Strange things are happening, and I can't seem to get in touch with him...

Aftermath - Ufo Series | January 5, 2006 at 08:15 PM

Aftermath is not that tough to run:

The minimum requirements are:
Windows 98/2000/XP
Pentium III 500 MHz
128 MB RAM
GeForce 2 MX video card with minimum 32 MB onboard RAM
8x speed CD-ROM
DirectX certified sound card
1.25 GB free HD space

Suggested system for optimum performance is:
Pentium III 1 GHz
256 MB RAM
GeForce 3 with 64 MB onboard RAM

Aftershock on the other hand is a little tougher:
Minimum Requirements
Operating system: MS Windows XP / 2000
Processor: Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon 1GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Video card: nVidia GeForce 5700 or ATI Radeon 9500
Sound card: MS DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
Hard disc: 4GB hard disk space
CD ROM: DVD ROM
Other: MS DirectX® 9.0c

Recommended Requirements:
Operating system: MS Windows XP
Processor: Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon @GHz
Memory: 768MB RAM
Video card: nVidia GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon 9700 PRO

I think Aftershock is a much better game, but Aftermath is also interesting.

Something For Christmas | January 3, 2006 at 09:09 PM

I'm a pervert, so of course I liked it . And I've started doing schoolwork again, so if it helps you're not the only one suffering . How was newyears eve?

Ufo Aftershock | January 2, 2006 at 05:13 PM

Pete: I'll just point out that I couldn't get quite that high a level of detail on my crappy graphics card - none of the advanced shading for me - so things tend to look a little more cartoony, though still very nice.

I thought you bought a fancy new PC a year or so ago? My screenshots are from a ATI Radeon Mobile 9700 with 128MB of RAM.
