Cost of a music CD at the volume they produce them is pennies. Let's say five pence and be generous. the highest priced CD is probably around £15. That's 300 times more than it cost to make, and usually the artists see the tiniest fraction of it.

Oh, and you're right FullAuto - read in my local paper today that despite forecasts of doom and gloom for retailers this Christmas, they're doing a roaring trade and taking in shiatloads of cash. It did have a good storyline though and kept you on your toes. There's too much shying away from things because of real world events. Sometimes movies can put across some very powerful messages. It just gets me down when folks then say things like "well this is obviously where they're getting their ideas from". Those people need to wake up.

Nah, this Holographic DVD hardware is quite literally going to end the fight jsut as it's beginnign to start between those two. They just don't have the same capacity or possibilites as this holographic technology, and with Maxell saying they can do a 300GB disk next year and have it affordable, the other two have got no chance whatsoever.
