Glowing Porkies | January 12, 2006 at 07:19 PM

(not u Full Auto!)
What's all this then that's been on the news? A new way to breed pigs so that they glow in the dark!!! How very helpful to human science, NOT!!! All I can say (at this moment) is that the research funding for this project was well spent, keep taking my taxes, it's nice to know its not being squandered on silly things like cures, reducing suffering or even worse, still in my pocket!!!

Booked Your Holiday Yet? | January 12, 2006 at 12:46 PM

Overcome with holiday brochures? Don't know where to go? Quick solution, it saves loads of money - Stay at home, this may seem a little cynical but you'll spend well over £1k, get a sun tan (maybe) get drunk (maybe), meet some new people (") visit new sites in/out of Britain. Then you come home and wonder about where all the money went and mope for days/weeks/months because you want to go back - CUT OUT THE MIDDLE MAN - DON'T GO! (Topic written in a desperate attempt to persuade myself I don't need to go on hols - ITS NOT WORKING !!!

Dunkability | January 12, 2006 at 12:12 PM

Pete: It must be something to do with FullAuto's recent Harry Potter article, but I just got this extremely nasty mental image of Ron Weasley in my head for some reason when you said that

Could have been worse you could have been thinking of Chris Evans !!! Fate worse than death!

Dunkability | January 11, 2006 at 08:10 PM

Pete: Well all I can say is that the clue is in the title with Jaffa Cakes.

What about shortbread - biscuit or loaf? oh and ginger nuts ...... we won't go there !!!

Dunkability | January 10, 2006 at 04:37 PM

I have had an enquiry from a friend about why jaffa cakes were not included - well Im no expert, but I'm not sure if this qualifies as a biscuit.

What We Need Is A ......... | January 10, 2006 at 04:33 PM

Now then STD, are you sure it's mouse? Can't say that your reputation as a naturalist bides well for this one. (I don't wish to know your knowledge / reputation as a naturist! - I'm a lady you know)

Who Or What Is Responsible For Society Crumbling? | January 9, 2006 at 06:49 PM

Ok then apathy gets a vote, but what about the enthusiasm to answer a ringing mobile phone / text whilst your watching telly?

Dunkability | January 9, 2006 at 06:45 PM

Obviously an amateur dunker - who ever heard of anyone feeling sick after dunking? Keep practising though.

Pure Bs | January 9, 2006 at 06:20 PM

I'm sorry but Mr C's medication list is confidential. The whisky is for me .... (just a little water with it please)

Who Or What Is Responsible For Society Crumbling? | January 9, 2006 at 06:15 PM

Mobile phones, texting especially. School reports show that kids today don't know how to write correctly, they can only correspond in 'text speak' if at all. I have to say that I do have a mobile but I certainly do not think it is a major priority in my life!
I also agree with STD on the Television angle - less Telly more talk that's what I say!

Dunkability | January 9, 2006 at 06:06 PM

Something very traditional about a soggy warm choc digestive though.Like a mini choc fondue!!!

Pure Bs | January 9, 2006 at 01:20 PM

Now then Mr C, don't forget your appointment at the self help group this week, we don't want you having to go back on 'the medicine' again now do we?

Something For Christmas | January 9, 2006 at 01:18 PM

Bit sad really, went out to pub, stupid here offered to drive!!! How daft is that? Drank ginger beer until it gave me stomach cramps, had a celebratory champagne at 12, looked a the others in the pub (50/50 mix - the couples who weren't talking BEFORE he got shit faced and the the Shit faced who couldn't talk). Probably not drinking wasn't such a bad idea (No I don't mean that - Honest!!)

Dunkability | January 9, 2006 at 01:07 PM

Back to work now and I am considering some very important issues, the first one being:
Which is the best biscuit for dunking in your tea/coffee?

When Do You Take Yours Down? | January 4, 2006 at 08:59 PM

I for one take mine down every year on the 2nd January. I know some may say I should wait until the 6th, "it's bad luck" one year I left mine up until March and I can't remember getting more good luck!
Get 'em down as soon as possible that's what I say!
