The Tlo Parliament | April 6, 2006 at 07:52 AM

PASSED.

Were they Geography students I wonder.

PROPOSAL:
All townies must stay in their towns on pain of death.

Madonna Tickets | April 5, 2006 at 07:26 AM

My current car cost a tad more than her most expensive tickets.

Moving On | April 4, 2006 at 11:14 PM

Ivory: there shoul dbe some kind of support from the governemnt to make it POSSIBLE for peopel who are out earning a decent wage to leave home! you cant get anywhere here for less than 160! (160n thousand that is! its insane!)

The problem is growing and most young people can't afford to live in the community they grew up in, it stinks. Here in Lincolnshire there are people selling one bedroom flats in London and buying large houses here because of the cheapness of the housing. Problem is that pushes up the cost of housing to the point that no one local can afford to live here.

Madonna Tickets | April 4, 2006 at 11:08 PM

Madonna Tickets are on sale now for her tour, cheapest ones £80, dearest £180 - I think that's value for money to see an old slapper mime 15 songs. Kets hope there's a sniper in the front row.

Musical Fingers | April 4, 2006 at 10:14 PM

Drums, keyboard, bass stangely enough and a few woodwind but apart from bass and drums none of them very well.

I was in bands for years but I don't do anything now.

Alcoholism | April 4, 2006 at 07:59 AM

Jesus AT, you should be a doctor - that actually worked. I'm cured!!!!

I'm going for a beer to celebrate.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. | April 4, 2006 at 07:56 AM

Is it now obligatory to have an homosexual in every movie? I know most of the actors are but do we have to have a queer character in every script?

The Tlo Parliament | April 3, 2006 at 08:52 AM

PASSED

Welcome MJ.

PROPOSAL: All politicians found abusing their position should have to pay all the money back they have earned since being in office.

What A Turd | April 3, 2006 at 08:47 AM

The only problem there I find is that it becomes difficult to enjoy historic films. I find I have to shut off to the problems and just watch the film.

I've just seen Fastest Indian which I've started a review on, and there are a few historical inaccuracies in it.

Ones To Avoid | April 3, 2006 at 08:43 AM

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.

What A Turd | April 2, 2006 at 05:22 PM

He co wrote this one so I guess someone stole his sense of humour and replaced it with a mobile phone tone.

Pet Hates | April 1, 2006 at 08:52 PM

I thought you had to be homosexual to work in television.

What A Turd | April 1, 2006 at 08:46 PM

AsI got in for free I thought better of it.

I too like her but some of her early stuff is unwatchable.

What A Turd | March 31, 2006 at 11:18 AM

I have just had the misfortune to have watched half of the Pink Panther, I say half because for the first time in my life I walked out of a movie.

I can't imagine who thought that the film was even slightly amusing - I was frankly embarrassed as the few people that had turned up to watch the film sat in stunned silence until the break when a communal sigh of relief was heard.

The screenplay stinks - Steve Martin stinks - the rest of the cast stink. Writing a review would be a complete waste of time as would going to see this film. Stay in and stick pins in your eyeballs, it would be mildly less painful.

Apart from a very early low budget film with Sandra Bullock in, this is the worst film in the history of cinematography.

Moving On | March 31, 2006 at 07:55 AM

If you really think that the direction you are going in isn't what you really want, you have got to ask yourself three questions.
1/ Am I being totally honest with myself?
2/ What do I want?
3/ How much do I want it?

Most people think they want something really bad, the truth is very few of us want it enough to persue it whole-heartedly.

In the words of a not so famous song:-

It seems a little scary,
And and it feels a little strange,
But if what you are ain't working,
Then you gotta make a change.
