Powerpuff Girls Comics! | January 23, 2006 at 04:36 PM

Hahaha, I know what you mean, me too sometimes those drawings are too cute But it's real fun, Dexter is a main character there too, it's really well made.

Are You Eyeballing Me, Boy? | January 22, 2006 at 07:35 AM

Heard of movies that never ended, but not about movies that didn't start...

Is It Me Or Are Games Getting Worse Every Year? | January 21, 2006 at 02:25 PM

Heh, I agree, I am finding myself more and more looking thorough old games to find something to have fun with.
And I honestly don't care either about the stupid GFX, Aliens vs Predator 2 was, to me, far more fun than FEAR, and Half Life 1, with all it's (now) crappy graphics (back then they were awesome) is more fun than Half Life 2, with it's awesome graphics.

Nope, sadly the game hasn't so far appealed to me much. At the beginning I was all excited and stuff, but the more I play it, the less appealed I feel to play again.

Is It Me Or Are Games Getting Worse Every Year? | January 21, 2006 at 05:40 AM

My last acquisition was UFO: Aftershock and Star Rangers 2. While not bad games on their own, they resulted simply disappointing to me. Now, what I've realised is that this has become a normal pattern to me: I get a new game all excited from screenshots, demo, etc, buy it, get disappointed, get bored in short time.

I remember when I used to get games which kept me playing for hours to no end, I had to actually make an effort to take myself away from the screen, and yet I have not played games like those in years!
Even FPS, a genre which does not really require much thought to be put into, has become a disappointment to me, my last FPS was Star Wars Battlefront 2 and F.E.A.R., both resulted in major disappointments, I heard many good things about FEAR and yet found myself before a game with massive system requirements (oh yeah, I can run Doom 3 and Half Life 2 without any problems but your crappy engine won't let me run your stupid game properly?? assholes!), so far crappy story (I haven't felt any of the tense atmosphere I heard so much about, Doom 3 kept me tense much much more).

Why, oh why can't they make decent games anymore? or is it just me?

I feel very disappointed with this game, not nearly as fun as I expected; doesn't even get near to X-Com: Apocalypse in terms of fun (IMHO)

Check them out here, a friend showed them to me today and they look amazingly well drawn (sp?).

LOL, that's very funny

Oh Pete, Where Art Thou? | January 21, 2006 at 05:25 AM

Slaughter: Thanks! I didn't understand what was going on, as the e-mail I sent you came to MY inbox! I sent them from the google webmail however (can't send from ThunderBird at Uni), so I guess it sends all mail to my inbox because of settings.

As for SpyWare, that's always fun . A friend of mine had the same problem you have a few months ago. His PC was hijacked badly, and I couldn't manage to get rid of it. How I'd love to get my hands on the developer of such nastiness! Good luck with the reformat, and if it's any consolidation I did the exact same thing a few days ago.

Heh, I would like to lay my hands on such people as well

We All Survived Friday 13th Then | January 15, 2006 at 04:50 PM

Trailers are almost invariably deceiving, they always show a movie as the best movie ever, I've seen crappy movies look terribly awesome, later to be disappointed by the truth. Making a trailer is like making a whole new movie

I want more Picard! Though I don't think I'll be watching any Star Trek movie if it's DS9 or Voyager's...

Voldemort Strikes Back | January 11, 2006 at 03:06 PM

I liked the movie, but as you said, lots of minor things were missing, which left me not entirely happy about it; but it's not a bad translation to movie, all in all (It'd be nice if they had, at least, explained what Priori Incantatem was, why Harry's parents appeared, which is explained in the books and since they saved Harry's life, it'd be nice if they had explained so in the movie as well.)
Hey, I think The Goblet of Fire was one of the best HP books! disagree with you there.
